I was checking Hulu.com this evening and noticed a new subscription based service called Hulu Plus. Essentially, if you want to get the Hulu.com library on your iPhone or iPad you have to pay $10/month. I for one was hoping that they would release a free version for the iPhone similar to their desktop offerings. Will there be a Hulu standard for these devices? They haven’t rolled the service out to everyone yet so for now you have to request a preview (you add your email and answer a few questions). I’m hoping that Apple will have a subscription to their iTunes library esp. the movies and TV shows. Many of us have been waiting for this for some time perhaps the time have arrived. If I’m going to pay money for something like this I would like to get it from one place. Right now I throttle between iTunes and Hulu so I think I’ll wait on this to see what the folks in Cupertino is going to do. Make sense to me that Apple provides this service. Could this be the start of a little competition???

My oh My! Its been a while since I updated this blog. I’ve been busy to say the least. Since my last post the iPhone 4 is on preorder, iOS 4 is out with over 100 new features even for us 3G and 3GS users, oh and the Mac Mini has a bit of refresh with its new Unibody self. Bummer its no longer available for $599 entry price it seems to have gone up by $100 (what’s up with that?) Apparently BP repositioned a containment cap on the underwater gulf gusher that’s been causing all kinds of health problems and other issues for those folks living in the affected areas. Hope that the cap holds this time. We’re worried about oil around these parts ourselves mainly gas drilling and hydrofracking.

So what have I been doing these past months. I’ve been diving into the ESRI Flex World a bit mainly for work and also just getting some away time from my computer. Its been fun but I’m seriously wiped out. I’m off to get some shut-eye long day tomorrow. One more thing… there are now 4 groundhogs that have taken up residence on my property we have a bit of an understanding so they stick to the un-mowed areas of the grass. At some point there will be too many of these creatures to manage so I’m looking into a way to deal with their case…

Whee.. Its a HOT day here in these parts and I’ve got the AC blasting coz I still haven’t cooled down from my little afternoon walking session. Can’t believe I went walking out there for an hour in all that heat. I was sweating buckets by the time I got back. It was good to get out though and I discovered some new developments in the downtown area that I had not noticed before. I used to live in an apartment complex downtown a while back with an odd shaped garage on the back of it and was glad to see that they have revamped the whole thing. At least the garage have been revamped and the back of the apartment area is totally different… NO more stinky garbage bins back there I wonder where these went. There is actually a court yard there now with bike racks. This area is full of bikers esp. since the gas prices have increased. I’m glad that I went out and saw all as it was a nice surprise towards the end of the hike. I am glad to be in the semi-cooled air…

Gosh how did that happen? Here I am still awake tap typing away at this computer. Plenty to do later I should go get some Zzzzs but I’ve been having way too much sugar so I’m awake instead. I’m here messing with this blog trying to figure out how to update my blog using Mars Edit for the second time. The first time I used it I didn’t like it one bit it was a bit clunky but it seems to be much improved. Anyway, I have to get to sleep soon otherwise I’m going to be groggy later. I’ve been eating too much crystallized ginger tonight …
